About Us
Built of golden Bath stone in 1874 by the architect J Elkinton Gill, the award winning Ayrlington is a handsome listed Victorian house with exceptional views of the City and its medieval Abbey. Bath’s magnificent historic sites, speciality shops and excellent restaurants are all just a 5-10 minute level stroll away.
The Ayrlington was the proud recipient of a Silver-Gilt certificate at the 2014 Bath In Bloom awards.
The elegant and tranquil interior is a graceful blend of English and Italian, artwork, fine fabrics and Egyptian cotton bedlinen – all nineteen bedrooms have individual themes and are beautifully furnished, some with four poster beds.

Perfect place for a Bath visit
Perfect position for visiting the centre. Only a few minutes walk and you were in the centre. Distance away meant hotel had a car park. The room was clean and tidy, and lovely view of the abbey, all lit up every night. Breakfast was gorgeous with all local sourced food.

Fabulous experience
My daughter took me here for my birthday. I couldn’t have wished for better. The room was small but beautifully clean. The staff and customer service was better than anything I have experienced in the last few years. The breakfast was incredible and nothing was too much trouble the attention to customer needs was first class.

The end of the Cotswold Way. Fantastic
What a fantastic B&B 5***** everyone was so helpful. After walking the Cotswold way with a friend to walk into the room that was large and very inviting, the beds were amazing, the shower was wonderful, the breakfast was very good and white table clothes added to the presentation of this wonderful place.
I would defiantly stay here again. Well done to all the staff.
